Why suggest having Chin Augmentation with silicone?
Because silicone is a solid object (but soft) that can easily be shaped and is permanent. If we do not like it, it can be changed. There are 3 types of silicone for chin augmentation, which are:
1. Downward chin augmentation, which is suitable for those who have a short chin. The proportions must be measured from the forehead-nose-chin. These 3 parts must be proportionate. Therefore, those with a short chin should have the downward chin augmentation.

In serious cases, the bone might be cut or the jaw bone might be moved. The bone movement must be performed with orthodontics. In some people, the bone may protrude too much so it is needed to be moved back.
